Endurance Steel Orchestra

Endurance Steel Orchestra

Endurance Steel Orchestra of 20 young musicians was founded in 2009. They have performed at steel pan events throughout London, the UK, Trinidad and the USA. They are very community focused and through their work also promote the organization, Kids Company, which is based in South East London. Come along, relax and let us take you to a Caribbean paradise.


Maria Fidelis Gospel Choir

Sunday, 22nd May, 6.30pm

Maria Fidelis Gospel Choir

St Mary's Church - £12, u16 £5

If you enjoy uplifting gospel music this choir is for you. Composed of girls from the Maria Fidelis School in Camden, the choir sang for the Pope during his state visit to the UK. They were winners of the 2010 BBC Songs of Praise Senior School Choir of the Year. They have performed at Buckingham Palace and the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. We are privileged to have them singing at our Music Festival.

During the interval canapés will be served courtesy of Capers.

Young Musicians' Concert

An evening that celebrates the talents of local young people from Ashwell School, the Knights Templar School and St Mary's Junior Choir. You will be amazed at the quality and professionalism of their performances.

Tonight's concert will be followed by the gentlemen of St Mary's Choir singing the ancient plainsong service of Compline - a peaceful and moving end to the day.


Hermitage

Thursday, 26th May, 7.30 pm

Hermitage Ensemble

St Mary's Church - £12, u16 £5

These professional singers from St Petersburg gave their first concert in 1994. Since then they have performed to acclaim throughout Europe and Japan. This inspirational group epitomises Russian cultural singing - the air will vibrate from their powerful voices.

Chroma

Friday, 27th May, 7.30pm

Chroma

United Reformed Church - £15, u16 £5

Founded in 1997, Chroma is a dynamic, critically acclaimed chamber ensemble featuring flute, harp and viola played by some of Britain's most outstanding musicians, known for the passion they bring to contemporary works and their vivid renderings of classic pieces. This concert is a must for all lovers of chamber music.


The Counterfeit Bee Gees

The Counterfeit Bee Gees

The Counterfeit Bee Gees are the best in the UK.

The band's repertoire spans a total of four decades, from their very first No.1 hit right through to songs from their latest album. An authentic tribute show it incorporates state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment together with a back screen projector which recreates the life and times of the Bee Gees in visual form. We expect this night to be a sell-out so you will need to get your tickets early.
